Mr. Howard Higginbothom
Dear Lil Lobos FamiLE,
My name is Howard Higginbotham and I am honored to serve as your principal at Herschel Zellars Early Childhood Learning Center. This will be my second year with Little Elm ISD. I have approximately 30 years of experience in education. I have served as an alternative teacher, middle school teacher, middle and high school coach, middle school counselor, an elementary assistant principal, and more recently the past 6 years as a Pre-K center assistant principal. This will be my second year as part of the Lobo FamiLE.
I am married to Tana Lee and we live in Shady Shores. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy traveling (especially cruises), movies, and sports. I am huge Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
I am very excited to helping lay the foundation for your child's educational journey. This is the time we foster their love of school and of learning. I look forward to assisting you and your children to have an awesome experience at Zellars as they become our littlest Lobos.
